I have loved and practiced yoga since I was around 15 years old but have steadily increased my practice over the last few years. In Autumn 2016 I decided to take my teacher training in Hatha yoga in the beautiful area of Mysore and hope to help others to learn and practice in their daily lives plus share some of the peace that I enjoyed during my teacher training. I have a keen interest in Eastern philosophy and spirituality; with an aim to continue to grow in my own practice and to be able to share this ancient wisdom with others so that everybody can gain a sense of calm and a healthier lifestyle. I am registered with Yoga Alliance Professionals as a member and always look to maintain the highest safety standards in class. 

 

I have always been fascinated by how the human body works, how it moves and its ability to heal itself. I took the step a couple of years ago to learn massage therapy as I wanted to combine this on-going fascination with the human body with my desire to help people to feel their best; mentally, physically and spiritually. I count myself among the growing community of professional therapists who agree that holistic healthcare is a fantastic way of preventing and helping to treat illness alongside conventional medicine and as such I am pleased to be part of the volunteer team at Salford Royal hospital providing massage to renal patients on dialysis.

The Federation of Holistic Therapists is the largest and leading professional association for therapists in the UK and Ireland. I have been a voluntary member of the FHT since my qualification in body massage in summer 2015 and appear on the FHT Complementary Healthcare Therapist Register. This register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care and this body is accountable to Parliament. Your safety and wellbeing are paramount in any treatment I provide and you can be assured that I adhere to the most current guidelines for care, health and safety to ensure that you have the most effective and safest treatment possible.
