Hatha Yoga is most often used to describe gentle, basic yoga with no flow between poses. It is a slower-paced stretching-focused class with pranayama breathing exercises, chanting and a seated meditation at the end. Hatha classes are a good place to work on your alignment, learn relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with doing yoga while building strength and flexibility.
Hatha classes provide an opportunity to stretch, unwind, and release tension, providing a good counterpoint to both busy lifestyles and cardio workouts.
If you have been keen to join a yoga class but found yourself a little nervous about learning asanas, flexibility or not being able to keep up; don't worry. These beginner to intermediate classes are really friendly allowing you to learn at your own pace and enjoy the essence of yoga; the union of body and mind and relaxation.

Please bring your own yoga mat- if you forget it we do have some spares. Feel free to bring other props with you if you wish such as blocks and straps however all asanas are achievable without these accessories.
Price £8/7 for concessions for 60 minute yoga class and 15 minute access to Ziferblat for a refreshing tea, coffee, juice or snacks before or after class.
